Shahrul Azlan Bin Zainuddin

As a Field Technician, I release male mosquitoes in household areas in Singapore. Our releases are done manually and utilize the use of vans for our releases. As a team lead, I communicated with my manager to report progress, discuss issues and brainstorm ideas to improve the efficiency of the operations. I also guide and train new hires on company protocol, increasing overall productivity within the department. I am also trained to carry out sample analysis on mosquitoes and carry out technical troubleshooting.

I started my National Service in Basic Military Training at Pulau Tekong. I expressed interest to be a leader and was selected to go to for the Specialist Cadet Course. I graduated with a 3SG rank and was posted to be a Section Commander in an Infantry Unit. I lead my team of 6 men for missions and was heavily involved in the planning of effective strategies in order to achieve mission success. I managed to attain the marksmen award in live firing.

Assist in the registration and regulation of medical devices into Singapore. Sorted and organized files, spreadsheets, and reports. Interacted with customers by phone, email, or in-person to provide information.

For my final year project, my team and I investigated the efficiency of Kollidon 90F as a binder in tablets. We performed quality control test such as; hardness, disintegration, friability and dissolution test. We spent hours in the lab to test and produce suitable binder for our tablets.
