  • My role covers three key functions – Promotions, Business Development & Planning and Sales Operations.
  • Under the marketing function, I lead the promotions and social media team in all engagement, promotional and social media content efforts across all five radio stations and digital assets.
  • Within my Business Development and Planning scope, my main focus is to align and push forward business strategy and growth. This involves working closely with the sales team and forging partnerships that will be aligned with the brands.
  • For Sales Operations, I oversee the team, including Audio Engineers, Copywriter, Schedulers and Support Officers that supports the sales teams and executes all commercial campaigns that runs on our platforms.
  • During my time in SPH Radio, SPH Radio surprised the industry with the exponential growth of Kiss92 and we successfully bid for 2 new frequencies that were launched in Jan 2018. SPH Radio grew its listenership consistently and is Singapore’s fastest growing radio network. This role is unique as it allows me to work on multiple brands within SPH and also work with clients on how their brands can synergise with our stations.


Achievements:

  • Grew Kiss92’s listenership to its current position of No. 2 in a short span of 3 years and maintaining it.
  • Started UFM100.3’s U1000 Music Countdown in 2013 and grew it to become the station’s annual marquee campaign seeing more than 3,500 fans turning up at the finale event in 2018.
  • Developed and launched the SPH Radio mobile app, which houses 5 radio stations in one. Previously each radio station had individual mobile apps. This saw cost saving and lessen resources required to maintain the app.
  • Successfully bid and launched 2 new radio stations in 2018 – MONEY FM 89.3 and 96.3 Hao FM. Both stations are seeing good and steady growth in both the FM and digital listenership.

  • As part of Singapore’s 2nd largest telecommunications company, I have been fortunate to have experiences in both the consumer and enterprise markets. Throughout my tenure at StarHub, I have been promoted twice from my initial position as a Senior Executive in the consumer mobile marcom team to my current role where I lead a B2B marcom team.
  • Achievements:
  • Spearheaded the revamp and rebranding of the mobile prepaid services which saw our prepaid cards regaining StarHub’s number one position in the market and launched new prepaid cards which have now become a key revenue generating staple in the prepaid business
  • Part of the team to launch the StarHub social media pages on Facebook & Twitter. Upon launching the social media pages, I effectively leveraged on social media to engage my target segments through interactive activities.
  • Led the project team in our strategic partnership with SCAPE to strengthen our youth foothold through engagement and CSR initiatives.
  • Rebrand the StarHub Enterprise business as a credible and trusted choice for business users towards the objective of creating a stronger affinity with the business customers and creating awareness of B2B solutions.
  • Successfully launched the much anticipated partnership with Microsoft on its latest cloud Microsoft 360 offering through a series of ATL, BTL and online campaigns.
  • Lead the team in a major online initiative, involving the revamp of our website and integration of social media. The roll-out is set to launch in Q3 this year.
