As an Assistant manager in National University Hospital (NUH)’s Management Reporting team, my main job scope is to understand the reasons for variances between actual month to month performance and deviations from budgeted numbers and actual numbers before reporting them to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Furthermore, I have also performed business case analysis as well as managed the treasury of the hospital to ensure the hospital is in healthy liquidity position. As the finance team representative for overall grant management, I work hand in hand with NUH research office to ensure that all expenditure relating to the grant has been properly accounted and recorded to ensure a smooth audit process.
