2.Assist with health monitoring. Measuring and recording of vital signs. Observe and report any changes in physical or mental condition.

3.Remind and assist with medication intake.

THUJA HOME @ Pelangi Village Nursing Aide Duties Performed Including

• Responsible for the delivery of direct Nursing Care.
• Ensure and maintain clean, safe and comfortable environment at all times for the residents.
• Prepare meals for the residents and provide assistance in feeding and assist shower time.
• Facilitate prevention and management of pressure ulcers and fall.
• Monitor and record vital signs.
• Ensure proper instils eye/ear drops, application of eye ointment, giving puffs and giving creams as prescribed by doctor.
• Assist the residents in their activities of daily living (Hygiene, Nutrition needs, Elimination needs, etc.).
• Assisted when Doctor consultation patients medical review and paperwork.
• Provide delivery of direct care under the supervision of Senior staff nurse.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for the delivery of services.
• Proper documentation of the resident's progress.
• Inform and assist to the staff nurse if the residents with illnesses or injuries requiring immediate medical action.
• Assist the staff nurse in serving of medication to the residents.
• Upload standard nursing practice and participate in relevant quality improvement activity

• Provided Basic Nursing care to patients such as oral hygiene, tepid sponge, especially personal hygiene.
  Administered oral medication, injection (IM, S/C, PR and IV) as ordered.
• Demonstrated proper execution of general nursing services care in the Areas of vital signs, ECG, catheters, feeding tube, IV cannular insertion as ordered.
• Obtained the blood specimen from the patients.
• Provided assistance to doctors doing round the ward and carried out Investigation and treatment as instructed.
• Assisted medical doctor in minor procedures such as incision, stitching head injuries and indwelling catheters.
• Provided pre and post operative of nursing care for the patients with any Diagnoses
• Recorded and measured intake and output.
• Monitored the progress of patients in ICU and reported any discrepancies in patients' response.
• Performed the wound dressing to patients who had done under surgery.
• Changed the patients position for those who was unable to move in every two hours to prevent bed sores - Instructed and demonstrated the deep breathing steps to correct in and out.
• Listened to the patients and talk to them to reduce their worried and anxiety and established good communication with the patients.
• Instructed and indicated the right way to patients and attendant about infection precaution and provided education to the families on first treatments.
