BANK OF SINGAPORE MIGRATION PROECT:

• Migration of Bank of Singapore projects to align with te OCBC built in framework.
• Conversion of transformation logic from python scripts to OCBC TXF used by the OCBC builtin framework.
• Conducted training sessions on data engineering tools like Spark, driving team efficiency.
• Reengineered existing ETL workflows to improve performance by identifying bottlenecks and optimizing code accordingly.
• Engineered optimized ETL pipelines, streamlining data ingestion processes for business insights.
• Architected advanced data models, improving data retrieval speed for enterprise applications.

TABLUEAU MIGRATION PROJECT:

• This is a Tableau migration project
• There are around 24 products that has been migrated to the new Tableau version
• The ETL portion for this project was in HIVE where the scripts were integrated in the unix shell scripting
• Involved in requirement gathering
• Decide on the functionality/technicality of the project
• Prepared the mapping document for this project where few additional metrics were included as part of the new version
• Worked on the road-map of this project and provided the cost estimation for the same
• Discussed with the users on the detail requirement and freezed the requirement with user sign-o before starting the development activity
• Assigned the tasks to the developers
• Arranged a daily stand-up call to track the progress of the task from each and every team members
• If any blockers discussed in the daily stand-up call, I initiate to followup with the concern team and make sure that the issues are fixed
• Have escalated on right time if there is any additional requirements provided apart from the agreed requirement and amended the same by understanding the criticality
• Followup with various team for data availability and make sure the data is available and loaded on time for tableau refresh
• Worked on the look and feel of the tableau dashboard
• Supported UAT for 2 cycles and also involved on closing the observations raised by the users in the User verification Testing
• Migrated the code to production and supported the project for 1 month

DATAFABRIC/IFRS9 PROECT:

• This is to build the ETL pipeline to generate the critical Financial reports
• Handle a team of 4 members
• Perform requirement gathering, analyse the requirement, provide estimation, assign the task to team members, provide suggestion or help the team members in case of any technical difficulties
• Building the ETL pipeline as per the user requirements
• Took the ownership to setup the environment in the new servers like mounting the MQHUB server in the edge servers, creating folders, ID’s, providing appropriate permission on each ID to the folders, firewall setup, SFTP configuration
• Migrating the objects to UAT using bitbucket git version controller
• Providing the KT on the project to the Production support team

INDONESIA B-SCORE PROJECT:

• To Calculate the scoring for the small scale industry according to the score they obtained
• The request submitted by the small scale industry will be analysed and the score will be calculated according to the profile of the company and the score the company obtained to approve/reject the fund requested
• ETL development of the project according to the requirements provided by the Users
• Took the ownership to setup the environment in the new servers like creating folders, ID’s, providing appropriate permission on each ID to the folders, firewall setup, SFTP configuration, Connect direct configuration
• Migrating the objects to UAT using Clear case and Clear quest
• Providing the KT on the project to the Production support team

HISTORY DATA MIGRATION PROJECT:

• To automate the repository backup services and to generate the table space growth report
• Participated in ETL development of loading the history data for the ODS system as there was changes in the source
• Also Developed the ETL flow for repository backup and table space growth
• Schedule the developed workflow as per requirement
• Promote the workflows to SIT, UAT and Production

AUSTRALIA AND DUBAI ROLLOUT ON CPMS:

• The client DBS established its presence in Australia and Dubai hence the project comprised of 2 new countries rollout
• Main objective is to implement ETL logic and create reports and send the reports to the downstream system to process
• Requirement gathering from the users
• Organizing meeting with finance user’s and Upstream Team to decide file structure received to process
• Prepared SOW and got it approved from the users
• Prepared Functional & technical specification document and made requirements clear
• Interacting with Downstream Teams and discussing regarding new changes

ENHANCEMENT AND PRFORMANCE TUNING PROJECT:

• In the project production ETL loading ran for around 14 hours for each country and since production has to be completed in first 7 business day, any problem in the source was leading to rerunning of the ETL jobs which will take another 14 hours to load; hence the project mainly aimed at fine tuning PLSQL scripts so that the loading time reduces and re-running the jobs becomes easy
• Changed ORACLE PLSQL scripts so that the performance improves without any changes in the result of the SQL
• Examined SQL running time from Tivoli (job scheduler) log and focused on script which run for a long time
• Worked towards changing update scripts (which run for a long time) and split them in loading to temporary tables, updated target tables one to one which helped to improve performance
• Secured result of inner SQLs joining two tables in a temporary table (which runs more than 1 time) and used temporary table wherever necessary
• Developed index fields in staging tables so that joining conditions are completed efficiently and faster
