Sarah Tan

I have attended prImary schooling, secondary schooling and is currently receiving tertiary education. I have had various experience working on projects all throughout my education. From small group discussions, to organizing CCA sessions and Girl Guide events during my time in Cedar Girl Guides, up to my time in Junior College where I had taken Project Work as a subject. I am hardworking and able to coordinate with my team to get things done. I am able to push my group mates and complete the work that needs to be done on time. I am also usually the connection between my group and the teacher, effectively communicating with them and adapting according to feedback given to me. I also have a heart in serving the community, and not just in Singapore but also internationally. On of the most significant and impactful experiences I have had would be the Overseas Values-In-Action (OVIA) Project with my school in 2024, in Vietnam. We helped to refurnish and provide assistance in the upgrading of a school in Sapa, Vietnam. It was truly both an eye-opening and insightful experience for me to know that the world out there is really different from Singapore, and that we can make effective change.
