• Ensure safety & compliance of work on site
• Assist Project Manager in project planning, monitoring the progress and to co-ordinate and oversee all works on site
• Review subcontractors’ Quality Plan, Procedures, Inspection Test Plans, Method Statements, Material. subcontractor’s weekly & monthly reports
• Conduct progress meetings to manage issues
• Participate in monthly meeting with Client and update on the progress and planned works
• Ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales
• Setting out sites and organizing site facilities
• Ensuring all changes to specifications, schedule, work scope &resource requirements and evaluate the impact and find the best solutions
• Manage testing schedule for RE/RTO witnessing and ensure compliance to project test requirements
• Site inspection, planning and other site activities
• Ensuring works carried out meet the quality requirements
• Audit quality assurance & quality control on finishing works.
• Carry out pre-scoring for CONQUAS/QM certification.
• Monitoring of in-process operation relating to quality works adhering to construction program.
• Coordinate with project operation team in the preparation of Project Integrated Management Systems/ Plans including any updates as the project progresses
• Informs/ briefs the Project Team on the Company’s QMS & Project QMS Plan, and subsequent updates.
• Liaises with Building Authorities (BCA) on CONQUAS (Construction Quality Assessment System)/QM (Quality Mark) matters.
• Co-ordinate with project operation team for the CONQUAS schedule and CONQUAS samples preparation.
• Summarised and compiled the required test reports for onward submission to BCA.
• Chair CONQUAS meetings/ briefing with Sub-contractors and site personnel as and when required.
• Attends the Site Meetings and other ad-hoc meetings as and when required.
• Attends to quality checks on off-site fabrication / material / product testing as & when required.
• Arranges for material testing. E.g. concrete trial mixes, rebar testing and etc.
• Arranges with the RA/RE for off-site witness testing as & when required.
• Coordinate with client’s representative, subcontractors, and consultants
• Handover to Owner & Solving the Owner’s Defect Problems & Certifying work done.
