Assist to structure term LNG deals from demand/supply opportunities in Asia Pacific region:

• Preparing deal economics analysis and providing diverse perspectives on pricing strategies in relation to PE's portfolio.
• Participating in counterparty negotiations and identifying how PE can complement their requirements.
• Develop and manage relationships with key customers and partners.

Commercial and analytical support for Origination activities:

• Responsible for in-depth analysis of targeted markets and support Originators in understanding market issues and identifying opportunities.
• Assist in lead generation and provide briefing notes on prospective counterparties to understand their background and position.
• Preparation of pitches, deal proposals and materials for tender submissions, including presentations to management committees.
• Drafting and reviewing term sheets/contractual agreements, facilitate internal functional reviews.

Support the development Origination business plans:

• Review of multi-year business plans to achieve PE's strategic vision, which includes establishing annual budget for sales, expenses and earnings.
• Maintain and regularly update regional business development pipeline based on business activities. Prepare stewardship and monthly management reports.
• Interpret data from trading systems, including P&L and exposure metrics, advise the team on deal reflections in PE reports.

Fundamental market analysis:

• Utilize knowledge and experience in the Global LNG markets to identify and prioritize fundamental and quantitative analysis/modelling that provides insight for Origination.
• Evaluate regional energy markets and policies. Provide competitive positioning of alternative energy developments and monitor developments in LNG/gas supply chain solutions.
• Produce periodic reports/presentations and regularly communicate market views to internal and external stakeholders.

Key highlights:

• Buyback deal from existing long-term LNG offtaker: Monitored market conditions to determine optimal timing for executing the buyback deal, resulting in P&L of US$25 million for deal executed in 2023 and US$26 million for deal executed in 2024. Developed a simulation model to analyze P&L for buyback cargoes and provided insights into P&L actualization in internal systems.
• Ammonia RFP Participation: Contributed to the Ammonia RFP led by EMA, securing a shortlist position within the Engie consortium. Created a comprehensive presentation deck that outlined our rationale for participation and strategies for expanding ammonia supply in the region, which received board approval in 2023.

• Reporting and validation of LNG trading desk P&L.
• Provide explanation on P&L related to trading activities and key MTM drivers from market curves.
• Assist in monthly/semi-annual reconciliation reports with Finance and Trading.
• Creation of P&L reporting tools and support queries from other business units on reporting structure.
• Prepare periodic physical cash flow report for monitoring of PE's cash position.

• Commentary on P&L with risk-based attributions
• Interactions with Front Office and Trade Support to ensure smooth and accurate reporting to management
