Summary

As a dedicated Learning Support Specialist (LSS) at the Institute of Technical Education, Singapore (ITE), my primary objective is to serve as a pillar of support for students with special needs, ensuring that not only do they excel academically, develop holistically and maintain a positive attitude. To empower them to realize their full potential and to become lifelong learners and contributors to society.

My fifteen years of experience as a Special Education Teacher, certified by the Ministry of Education in Singapore, have given me expertise in the field of providing support to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental delays. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals across a wide age range, spanning from two to eighteen years old. This experience has allowed me to address a spectrum of needs, ranging from mild to severe cases of ASD and other developmental delays.

Given my extensive experience and credentials in the field of special education, I am well-positioned to make a substantial impact in any organization or academic institution.
