A driven and resourceful Senior Talent Acquisition professional with both 12 years of in-house and agency experience working in start-up as well as MNC environments where I collaborate closely with global as well as regional stakeholders to drive their end to end recruitment initiatives across the Asia Pacific Japan, Australia New Zealand, Greater China as well as India regions.

The companies I recruit for are mainly technology ones across the Cybersecurity, Social Media, Martech and Analytics sectors where I utilize a data driven approach to hire for positions across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Professional Services as well as technical roles.

Before venturing into recruitment, I found myself in different industries from F&B to Real Estate and at one point worked for a Travel Agency.

This exposure to diverse industries and people inadvertently paved the way for me to enter the wonderful world of recruitment over a decade ago

Contributions:

  • I was engaged by Boomi as a Senior Talent Advisor to support them in building their Commercial Sales team (SMB market between USD$500m - USD$1bn of 13 people in ANZ, mainly for the functions of Account Executives and Sales Development Representatives based in Sydney
  • Utilizing data to influence hiring manager decision making through the use of various analytics reports
  • Strong focus on maintaining a positive candidate experience
    Streamlined interview processes by coordinating schedules between candidates and hiring managers while minimizing disruptions to daily operations.
  • A total reduction of agency cost and hires were fulfilled internally resulting in external agency spend
  • Implemented innovative sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates from diverse backgrounds.
  • Pre-screened resumes prior to sending to corporate hiring managers for consideration.
  • Enhanced candidate experience by streamlining the recruitment process and providing timely feedback.

Responsibilities:

  • Sole Talent Acquisition Partner based in Singapore responsible for hiring all Sales and non-Sales permanent as well as contract positions across APJ and Greater China Region
  • Talent advisor to 15 hiring managers across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Engineering and Admin positions
  • Collaborating with stakeholders in the NAMER and EMEA regions
  • Own all aspects of developing talent related processes, practices and strategies with a data driven approach
  • Provide recommendations for interview stages and interviewers
  • Responsible for advertising positions on Jobs Bank, Indeed, LinkedIn and Greenhouse

Achievements:

  • Reduced agency usage to Japan and collaborated with HQ to standardize recruitment agency fees to manage cost (Company was paying 25% - 40% OTE in agency fees in the past) which resulted in over USD$1,000,000 of savings in agency fees over 9 months
  • Completed 7 hires within 3 months of joining through direct sourcing (CSM Korea, Senior Inside Sales Rep Singapore, Marketing Manager GCR, Office Admin Japan, Office Admin Korea, Technical Support Engineer India and Business Technology Support Engineer India
  • Interviewed over 20 candidates and filled Territory Director Japan position in 56 days without agency usage
