  • Performs daily and periodic maintenance of the laboratory information systems as required to ensure proper functioning of the systems, and follows up appropriately on any system malfunction.
  • Performs costing, and evaluation and procurement of IT related software and hardware.
  • Reviews the billing reconciliation reports for the accuracy of bill adjustments performed by the Patient Service Associates, and the BTS / HCLL billing forms.
  • Follows up appropriately on any billing issues by raising online adjustment/waiver forms or liaising with the clinics.
  • Provides backup support for the billing of internal and external clients.
  • Monitors the performance of the LIS in terms of frequency of downtime and response time, follow up with necessary investigations and corrective actions.
  • Participate actively in quality improvement projects
