Care Provider assisting family's elderly with disabilities with daily living activities in-home or within care facility. Keep house by making beds, doing laundry, washing dishes and preparing meals. Advise families and coordinate with hospital's healthcare team regarding medication, health concerns, nutrition, cleanliness and household activities.
I always being calm and and patient with my home's elderly when we were together. I also help with their medical needs, like making sure they take medicines or going with them to doctor's appointments. To make it easier, I prepare pillboxes that have each day's pills ready for a whole week.
During my work in hospital as a Cleaner, I always concern about the patients who are in need for something else, Although I am not the Caregiver but I will try my best to assist them whenever they need (sometimes Nurses may not able to come to them often). Thus I helped them to pour the water, pick up things that dropped on the floor, assisted them for bed adjustable head & foot (ensure they are comfort and happy).
Over the years, after I switched to Singapore Citizenship; I would like to rebuild social network by giving back to society by taking care of them.
I hope I can get a chance to work as Caregiver, get proper training, a job that I can learn and growth.
