- To maintain the continuity of the LIVE broadcast operations and services through operating broadcast equipment, In order to receive, transform, organize playout and transmission of content using various playout platforms such as Mediator X, on premise and Cloud based (AWS) Cinergy and Intesat.
- Job Responsibilities:
- 1) Perform Recording and Ingest Operations:
- Monitor incoming signals or files for quality and continuity
- Record incoming signals for the purpose of storage and playback
- Perform quality checks on recorded and or ingested content for adherence to technical specifications
- Segment recorded content as per on-air requirements
- Perform encoding and transcoding of content
- Assign asset tags and metadata for Media assets management

- 2) Perform Playout Operations:
- Retrieve content from Digital asset management system for playback

- Execute playback of schedule content as per playlist through the automation system
- Perform TX LIVE events, switching between LIVE, recorded, commercial and promos events in accordance to the schedule and maintaining on-air continuity
- Monitor playout, transmission, satellite signals to resolve any issues that may arise in signals, audio or video quality
- Adjust for any time differences by inserting make good advertisement and promos in coordination with scheduling and ad sales team
- Generate As-run logs for commercial reconciliation by Ad sales team
- 3) Perform Distribution and Transmission Operations:
- Configure systems to setup Adhoc video over fiber, IP streaming circuits and Satellites uplinks and downlinks
- Manage conditional access system
- Operate Teleport systems for full time and Adhoc Satellite transmission
