- Evaluation of insulation and refractory requirements for piping and equipment, including the material take-off (MTO) based on the supplied piping isometric and tanks/vessels/equipment drawings, in conjunction with project planning, budgeting, and execution
- Based on the client's Instruction to Bidder (ITB) documents, conduct a thorough review of the project specifications and the relevant piping and equipment drawings
- Prepare the Bill of Quantity (BOQ), which should include details such as type, insulation class, pipe size, necessary insulation thickness, specified insulation materials (Hot/Cold/Acoustic), weatherproofing materials, and any required ancillary materials
- Identify the volume of Hot/Cold/Acoustic Insulation materials needed, the quantity of weatherproofing materials required (including both Metallic and Non-Metallic options), and the quantity of ancillary materials that will support the project
- Request quotations from the vendors providing the materials
- Compile a quotation for the supply, installation, and supervision of insulation and refractory materials, accompanied by relevant documentation
- Submit the quotation, along with all relevant supporting documents to client on or before the requested date, following a thorough review and approval by the Management team
- Review any Engineering Change Order (ECO) issued by the client, which include updates to drawings or specifications
- Prepare the comprehensive project budget, including the supplementary cost intended for contingency measures
- Attend the Project meeting and discuss about all the backlogs if any, improvements, schedules etc
- Supervising and managing staff from different departments to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination
- Reviewing the efficiency of current business practices and applying changes to enhance productivity levels
- Coordinating the procurement process and making certain that services and products are delivered without delay
