Data Privacy and Securing Information (DPSC) Project

• Project: Prevent hackers from stealing our information
• Role: Network Engineer
• Designed and implemented subnetting for departmental networks, enhancing network efficiency and security.
• Planned and allocated IP addresses for various departments using subnet masks to create distinct broadcast domains.
• Implemented subnetting strategy using Class C IP address space to accommodate company growth and improve network performance.

Water Quality Testing Project

• Project: An application that can monitor water quality.
• Role: Usability and Testing Specialist
• Conducted usability evaluations via simulations, field testing, questionnaires, and focus groups. Integrated feedback for continuous improvement.
• Led system testing and data gathering from experts and on-site tests to ensure accuracy.
• Designed and analyzed surveys targeting local residents and online donors to understand water access issues and donor willingness.

Room Booking System Project

• Project: A working prototype for a room booking system for UOW.
• Role: Front End Developer
• Developed and implemented user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborated with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless functionality.
• Conducted user testing sessions and gathered feedback to improve the user experience.

Cafe Staff Management System Project

• Project: Design and develop a Cafe staff management system.
• Role: Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Documentation
• Implemented test cases using TDD to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the software.
• Developed unit and integration tests to validate the functionality of various modules.
• Created comprehensive documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contributed to the design and development of the system architecture and workflow.

Final Year Project (Duration: 6 months)

• Project: Web-based analysis intrusion detection system
• Developed a virtualized dashboard system for the intrusion detection system that allows network administrators to easily monitor the network through IDS tools such as Snort, Kismet, Zeek (Bro), and Suricata.
  
• Role: Front End Developer
• Designed and implemented the user interface using modern web technologies.
• Created use case, sequence, and entity diagrams to model the system's functionality and behavior.
• Conducted research on QRadar SIEM tool by IBM and integrated them into the dashboard system.
• Collaborated with team members to ensure the project met security and usability standards.
• We used Snort system developed by Cisco to perform real-time traffic analysis and packet logging. It also performs content searching and matching.

Ang Mo Kio Group Representation Constituency(GRC), Cheng San Constituency

January 2021 - Present

Grassroots Leader(GRL), Secretary

• Present GRL and Secretary of Cheng San Indian Activity Executive Committee (IAEC).
• Organize events for the community, door to door visits to residents and lend a helping hand to those in need.
• Coordinating with the relevant agencies to ensure appropriate aid reaches to those in need.

Events that we organize every year: 

• Tamil New Year - A cultural based event for children aged between 6 to 18 split under 3 different age categories respectively. It includes competitions like family quizzes, story telling, fancy dress, word games and debate.
• Deepavali - Festival of Lights event that we conduct to show our symbolism of celebration where good triumph over evil and light over darkness. This includes traditional attires being worn on that day and lighting of lamps alongside singing competitions for adults and traditional sweet stalls being put in place for refreshments. To add on, we even bring artists from Vasantham Mediacorp channel for singing.
