With over a decade of experience as a multidisciplinary artist and art educator from Kerala, India, I currently inspire and educate as a Senior Tutor in Visual Arts at the Singapore Indian Fine Arts Society. My expertise spans visual arts education, community engagement, and a vibrant creative practice that has even led to the honor of creating a customized painting for my organization, presented to the President of Singapore. My artistic skills are varied and rich, embracing both contemporary and traditional forms, including installation art, storyboard development, character design, Tanjore painting, set design, background animation, and captivating live painting performances. I am dedicated to guiding students through a spectrum of projects, from conceptual art exhibitions to interdisciplinary collaborations. Outside the classroom, I am actively involved in community outreach, leading public art workshops and volunteering for art-based social initiatives. My commissioned works are diverse, ranging from portraiture to mural sculptures and bespoke decorative pieces that beautify spaces. As a leader, I have enhanced art department curricula, pedagogical methods, and assessment strategies, fostering a balance of theoretical knowledge and practical application. My educational approach encourages experimentation, teamwork, and the pursuit of new artistic territories. My ambition is to lead a dynamic and inclusive art department that fosters innovation, cross-cultural engagement, and a commitment to lifelong learning in the arts.
