Assist Credit Manager in handling four (4) business entities of Kimberly-Clark, Malaysia & Singapore.
1.Kimberly-Clark Trading (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Petaling Jaya,
Selangor)
2. Kimberly-Clark Products (Malayia) Sdn Bhd, located in
Kluang, Johor
3.Kimberly-Clark Singapore Pte Ltd, located in Singapore
4.Kimberly-Clark Far East Pte Ltd, located in Singapore
Credit Policies and Procedures
- Ensure credit policies and procedures are develop and properly.
- Responsible for evaluating, extending and controlling credit and monitor the collection of accounts by salespersons and ensure these are fully understood by all relevant parties.
- To ensure company rights are protected at all times and facilitate the implementation of effective credit control.
Collections
- Ensure actual collection measures are consistent with the formal procedures and comply with the relevant acts, legal, ethnical and company standards by monitoring and reviewing actual activities on a regular basis.
- To ensure that company rights are protected, avoid exposure to prosecution and the maintenance of effective working relationships with customers.
Credit Monitoring
- Establish credit status of new and potential customers, allocated appropriate credit limits for all customers and arrange payment terms.
- Provide the basic structure for monitoring compliance with trading terms and controlling the extension or credit.
Accounts Receivables Maintenance
- Oversee the maintenance of the Account Receivables ledger to ensure it accurately reflects the status of accounts and any deviance are highlighted, so corrective action can be implemented.
Business System Maintenance
- Ensure the business systems used are consistent with the business requirement and comply with internal controls. This is critical to support customer service strategies in accounts receivables and optimizing processing efficiencies.
Other duties
- Demonstrate a commitment to quality performance through personal example by adopting a customer-based philosophy in the level of service provided and by continually re-evaluating what is provided to ensure that continuous improvement is achieved.
- Establish and foster good credit relationships with existing and potential customers to ensure payments are received in accordance with trading terms and that sales growth is not restricted.
- Communicate fully with superiors and others who need to know. Be informative without being obtrusive. Communicate in a way that is prompt, complete, concise, being both candid and accurate.
- Team member for business process mapping to further improve the current business process for better efficiencies and cost savings.
