A capella

My A capella journey in Republic Rhapsody began as driven by my passion for soaring melodies and powerful vocals. As the once lead singer and President of the club, I found immense joy in leading the group and sharing my love for music with my talented peers. However, a chance encounter with a performance by one of my beatboxer senior which ignited a hidden passion within me: beatboxing.

What followed was a period of intense exploration. I poured countless hours into mastering the art of vocal percussion, pushing my musical boundaries and discovering a new facet of my vocal abilities. This journey of self-discovery not only transformed my own musical expression but also reshaped the sound of our group. Republic Rhapsody has embraced this evolution, incorporating intricate rhythms and dynamic percussion into our repertoire. We continue to explore the possibilities of this new sound, pushing the boundaries of A Capella and creating a unique and captivating musical experience. We clinched 1st place/ Champions in the college in the A Capella Championships 2024 hosted by The A Capella Society and I was giving the chance to perform by myself with collab with String Ensembles and Jammerz Arena (Rock band) in Republic Polytechnic's Jam & Hop 2024.

This journey has been a testament to the power of embracing change and discovering new talents within oneself. It has strengthened our bond as a group and inspired us to continue pushing the boundaries of our musical creativity.
