• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all applicable emergency procedures and safety equipment, operating manuals, Cabin Safety Instructions and Cabin Services Circulars.
• Lead a team of Cabin Crew working in own section of cabin.
• Regular coordination with the Crew In-Charge to ensure all areas are effectively supervised and a high standard of safety and service is delivered and maintained throughout the flight.
• Responsible for assigned zone inflight sales cash management and reconciliation activities.
• Complete relevant reporting documentation as required for each duty.
• Ensure safety of all personnel on-board of Company aircraft are well taken care of.
• Ensure inflight satisfaction of passengers on board Company aircraft.
• Check grooming standards of cabin crew.
• Ensure crew welfare and safety at out ports.
• Participate as an active team member, ensure a cooperative and harmonious work environment.
• Closely monitor and coach supernumerary (SNY) crew and probationary crew.
• Provide line training and support the development to cabin crew, counsel where necessary for non-compliance to company procedures.
• Conduct cabin crew performance assessment as required.
• Operate as Crew-In-Charge on the A320 aircraft.
• Any other ad-hoc assignment as required by the Company.
•Carry out preflight duties such as checking safety equipments, doing security sweep at respective zone, ensuring the cabin is clean and tidy, etc.
•Greeting passenger as they board and exit the plane.
•Demonstrating safety equipments and safety procedures.
•Checking cabin and galley are secure prior to take off and landing.
•Attending to passenger’s needs especially passengers with special requirements, such as diabetic passengers, PRMD, pregnant ladies and etc during the flight.
•Ensuring passengers to follow safety procedures correctly.
• Handle all in-bound enquiries sent through emails, faxes or calls.
• Prepare quotations and advise on lead time for deliveries.
• Be familiar with different product ranges that company is offering.
• Liaise and coordinate with various divisions regarding order confirmations and delivery. • Maintain good rapport with new and existing customers.
• Differentiate cost and mark-ups used for different categories of customers.
• Ensure customers’ orders or requirements are processed efficiently.
• Provide necessary support to individual division.
In Safety and Security Week 2023, I was awarded with Scoot Safety Award by both Scoot and Singapore Airlines for high situational awareness and teamwork which prevented in-flight medical incident and unplanned flight diversion on 7 Dec'22 Jeddah to Singapore flight.
