• Technical errors debugging - Various technical issues coming from parsing different broker/exchange reports but not limited to end of day reporting, security reference data, corporate actions details. Also debugging the issues coming in/going to from upstream/downstreams applications at different stages of process interactions.
• Reconciliations: Positions, Trades, Commissions, Rebates, Wires, Cash. Co-ordination with both internal and external parties. Making sure all mandatory actions are processed before start of trading and alerting traders ahead of time in case of issues. Not just looking at the GUI but also handling any technical issues related to automated parsing of the internal & external data.
• Corporate actions : Researching & participating in applicable in the money voluntary corporate actions and also identifying any upcoming potential liability due to short positions and keeping all traders informed ahead of the time. Technical debugging if some mandatory action is missed by the system. Also alerting traders in time when some details changes intraday for any corporate action. Developed few helper tools to catch this.
• Security Financing : Making sure the broker charges are per agreed and challenging on deviations. To be clear - I'm not responsible for negotiations of rates, just the monitoring.
• Locates : Securing locates from PB per trader's requests.
• Onboarding new trading into existing technology and platforms.
• End of the month rebates calculations/reconciliations - Calculate our monthly performance and challenging brokers/exchange in case of mismatches between the expectation.
• Working closely with the post trade and accounting teams to identify improvements in the current workflow as well as assisting in the implementation of those improvements.
• Maintaining and updating the commission structures across all markets and keep a close track
• Documenting complex processes to develop middle office & post trade guidelines.

• Supporting one of the most critical application for FX deals booking & risk management. Many big clients across the world trade with JPM and I have to make sure there are no cracks in the deal booking process and proper STP flow to downstream. This includes many things but not limited to dealing with front office Trading applications, risk management systems, pricing engines, client STP flow, middle-office booking flow and end-of-day feeds to various downstream
• Trade floor support and Problem solving – Primary role is problem solving, application and trade floor support. A quick learner with good troubleshooting skills.
• Development and debugging skills – Debug production issues by digging into the application code (mostly Python) Writing support related helpers and ad-hoc scripts, System automation and optimizations.

My role with TRC involves expertise on both technical and functional competencies across tower business from across many asset classes that includes many things but not limited to Trade Operations, P&L Calculations and Reconciliation , Securities Reference data , Position & Trade reconciling and monitoring, Firm’s Capital , Commissions , Rebates , Corporate Action . Also, the Ad-hoc reporting required by traders , risk managers and finance . I worked closely with Trading teams ,Risk Managers and Finance teams globally and act as an interface for them for tower’s back-office team for smooth trading operations. I also played a key role in onboarding firm in different markets.

• Production Reliability Assurance - Making sure all the production tools/applications are showing correct data before end users like trading teams, business, finance, risk teams reach office . That means 100% data accuracy assurance and 0 standing issues before market opens . Few of the applications under me is used by top management . Also throughout the day the application sanity checks .
• Process Improvements - Suggesting/making improvements in existing system by keeping a track of issues seen most often and the approach we can use to best handle things automatically instead of manual efforts . I also get engaged in coding part too for this ( not just analyst , but the coder too ) .
• Production stability & Root Cause analysis - Setting/Monitoring the daily alerts so that no issue is missed which may (or may not ) cause business loss and sending the post-mortem report to top management. This needs deep investigation and debugging skills from code perspectives plus business knowledge.
• Single Interface - To fill in the communication and ownership gaps between various parties like business management, Finance, traders , Risk , from office team . Whenever newly brokers/venues are onboarded , we engage everyone so that all are on same page and divide activities and plan accordingly

I was responsible for Production support & Business analysis of multiple Business critical applications. Applications responsible for back office processing starting from trade routing to trade settlement, accounting . Also Global source of security and fund reference data applications are supported by us that supplies data to multiple end customers and Front office applications

Worked for client Synchrony Financial for their credit card application processing system. The system does the processing for the Commercial clients. Consumer client is not in the scope of the system. In this Credit Card Processing system, main area of focus was to develop, support and monitor the credit card application processing system.
