Summary

My full name is Hong Phat, who was born in 1994, in My Tho City, Tien Giang Province, Vietnam.
In 2008, I became a Buddhist monk at My Duc Temple, My Tho City, Tien Giang Province.
I continued learning until I graduated from Nguyen Dinh Chieu High School in 2012.
In 2013, I registered to study basic knowledge of Buddhism at Tien Giang Buddhist Intermediate School.
In 2017, I completed the Buddhist studies program at Tien Giang Buddhist Intermediate School.
In 2018, I passed the entrance exam of Buddhist College of Singapore and started studying in Singapore.
In January 2024, I will complete my Bachelor of Buddhist Studies at the Singapore Buddhist College.

When I was on holiday, I attended a charity event organized by the abbot of my temple in Vietnam.
In the charity events, I was charge of preparing 2000 meals for patients in Tien Giang General Hospital.
Although I was very tired of preparing 2000 meals, I was very happy because I was able to help those who were suffering from their sickness.
Attending the charity event was helpful for me to enhance loving-kindness and compassion towards other sentient beings.

When I was attending the charity event, I contacted with my relatives and devotees for fundraising, which was useful for them to enhance loving-kindness and compassion towards suffering beings and to attain merits and virtues for their future

Attending the charity event was helpful for me to know how to organize, manage and cooperate effectively with the others

Bachelor of Arts from Buddhist Studies

Honestly, reading was formerly not my hobby.
However, I started to study a Bachelor of Buddhist Studies at Buddhist College of Singapore, I had to read various books to get information for my presentations and essays.
I gradually realized how to read and understand a book effectively, which made me become more interested in reading.
Reading is useful for me to expand my knowledge and improve my way of thinking. Currently, I still maintain my hobby of reading in my free time.
