Additional Information

With over 20 years of experience in the teaching profession, I have cultivated a deep passion for education, beginning in Early Childhood and later specializing in Special Needs education. My expertise lies in working with young learners, particularly at the early and lower primary levels, where I focus on building strong foundational literacy skills to support smooth transitions into primary and secondary education.

Beyond classroom teaching, I am dedicated to creating customized learning materials that enhance absorption, retention, recall, and application of key concepts. My commitment extends to supporting students with behavioral challenges, where I apply empathy and intervention strategies to foster their growth and success.

I am an advocate of multisensory learning approaches, including Montessori methods, which inspire me to continually design and develop innovative educational resources when conventional manipulatives fall short. This passion led to my role as Lead in ELL Resource Development, where I successfully spearheaded two projects: the Sight Word Card Deck and the Morphology Board Game.

In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I excel in teamwork, parent communication, student assessments, and report writing. As a dedicated professional, I consistently uphold high standards of collaboration and integrity within a large, mission-driven organization.
