• I am a caring individual who has consistently demonstrated genuine commitment to give back to society throughout my six years in high school. My passion for helping the less fortunate shines through my participation in numerous Volunteer Involvement Activities (VIAs).
• In 2022, I initiated my own project partnering with OSCAS to raise funds for stray dogs in Singapore. In total, together with my team, we raised $2078

In addition, in 2021, I was also an integral part of NJ Youth Give Back(NJYGB) programme at NJC. As one of the overall In-Charges, I led a project that focused on helping foreign domestic workers. Collaborating with the Center for Domestic Employees, Together with my team, I meticulously planned and organised meaningful activities for the workers. Despite the constraints imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, We effectively guided a team of students and hosted a successful scrapbooking activity for foreign domestic workers via Zoom, overcoming the obstacles along the way.

In addition, in 2023, Rui En looked after a large group of children aged 7-8 for a period of three months in church.
