The journey to being a counsellor-in-training started with the strong desire to understand the emotions of drug addicts and what drove them to the decision. With the knowledge I have gained, I want to support the marginilised and vulnerable communities with compassion, empathy, and understanding. What lacks in our community is the chance of actually being heard. Supporting the community means empowerment and upholding their dignity.
