Year June 2018 - Nov 2022
- Provide check-in duties, verify passengers' identifications and travel documents before accepting them on the flight.
- Cleared passengers' doubts by answering to their queries, Eg; whether their special meals were confirmed, or wheelchair services would be provided for the ones that required.
- Performed gate duties, making sure boarding passes were scanned and tallied.
- Coordinated with ramp officers, making sure passengers' baggage were all loaded in the cargo.
- Coordinated with crews on board, making sure everything was in placed before letting the passengers to board the aircraft.
Year May 2022 - Nov 2022
- Got to explore other departments and one of them was being in "Delay Team" where my job was basically to meet delayed arrival flights and provide assistance to the affected passengers.
- Created and issued out meal and hotel vouchers for the affected passengers through the airline computer system (Amadeus CM).
- Coordinated with various hotel managers all over Singapore to source out rooms for affected passengers.
Year Nov 2022 - Present
- Took up a role as an "Acting Officer" that does rebooking for passengers' that misconnect their onward flights.
- Monitored all inbound flights using Flight Radar and Singapore Airlines website.
- Created new booking through airline computer system for a fresh new booking.
- Did rebooking of flight itinerary for affected passengers, check them in to their new flights and making sure their baggage were tagged on to their new flights.
- Coordinated with Singapore Airlines rebooking team (CCT) on occasions where rebooking issues occurred.
- Coordinated with station managers to get their approval before letting the "Delay Team" members to issue out the hotel/meal vouchers.
- Coordinated with check-in agents at Transfer Desk if there were any last minute changes of passengers' bookings.
- Ad-hoc duties such as regrading top tiers passengers (Life, Solitaire members) on their birthdays/anniversaries when they travel.
