  • Pre-authorization submissions from MHC portal is received via API and created in RCS and then submitted to Jarvis for further clinical validation. Aviva core system is to process all incoming PMI submission from Medi claim through CRE rules and General rules. If the ICD/TOSP in the claims match the Pre-authorization the policy holder will take in to account when checked for underwriting. The outcome of underwriting and pre-existing firings will be reported under each plan.
  • Where claim is submitted and there is no matching pre-auth a pre-existing validation will be done and the ICD on the claim matches the ICD code in pre-ex and firings will be triggered in Jarvis. Aviva users then validate the criteria’s which are in Pend / Accept/Reject. Based on the outcome the letters will be sent to the policy holder.
