Key Accomplishment

• Successful delivery of highly available, resilient ,autoscaling and shrinkable domain APIs suite(RPC Avro /REST-JSON microservices on Tanzu PaaS) of CASA, Fixed Deposit and CIS and Signatory domain which asynchronously stream( via Kafka) corebank data in real time to NoSQL ( aerospike) data store and hence abstracting core-engines resources as a result saved resource utilization and hence licensing cost , at the same time achieving high performance throughput from query-oriented data model of NoSQL datastore fetch the result in less than 100ms.

• Successful delivery for Infrastructure and framework ( including HA, CICD with observability dashboard ) for mainframe java APIs ( ZIIP liberty services ) , resulting in MIPS saving of mainframe which paves the path for enterprise wide strategic direction of mainframe offload/sunset roadmap of organization.

• End to end discovery , design , development and delivery of realtime IPO subscription and health monitoring dashboard on Grafana.

• API Performance improvement: Had brought down 99 percentile of all CoreBank native APIs of INDIA , INDONESIA under 1000ms ( 40+ APIs each market , among which some of the APIs were taking as much as 12000 ms)

• CoreBank EOD batch optimization, achieved end of day batch duration to less than 4 hours, irrespective of pre-holiday, post-holiday, month end by implementing frame work for EOD batch optimization for CoreBank Finacle.

• Horizontally scale CBC- UNISER services for parallel processing, HA and blue-green deployment, vertical scaling to elastically scale and shrink per varying traffic , all TCP based CBC API of Finacle were brought down under 500ms response ( from 2000+ ms).This helps in cost saving as sustaining with same hardware even 300% increase in volume from last 1.5 years .

• Architectural change to transaction engine to achieve high TPS of 25 TPS transaction.

• Release automation for all deployment artifacts of Finacle (product patches, sqls, scripts and environment properties )

• Offline/warm data base implementation (Kafka streaming) for reporting and handoff file extractions, this had brought down over all CPU utilization to 8-12 % and helped save 1.5m per annum in IT hardware cost for only 1 market , It have further potential to offload non-core downstream services from core banking engine with min change using established framework.

• Observability: Core banking logging and ingestion framework delivery for near real time monitoring, analytics and alerting ( ELK ) .

• End to End delivery of DBS CHINA WeChat banking at Finacle China ( DBS i-wealth).

• Digibank enhancement and migration for ANZ merger to DBS CHINA and INDONESIA
