JOB PURPOSE.

To utilize their PC&IS mastery to eliminate losses across the Making or Packing. This will include: Technology Ownership and Standards Development, Technology Improvements, T4 E&I Development, and Project Support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technology Ownership and Mastery (40% of the Role):

• Technical mastery and masterplan ownership of the technologies they own.
• LEAD LOSS ELIMINATION CYCLES: Identify, prioritize, and eliminate losses utilizing the Loss Elimination Funnel.
• Standards Implementation: Ensure best-in-class standards are the same and utilized across the technologies you own.
• Equipment Owner Coaching and Collaboration: Scheduled and formal discussions, and alignment on Technology Standards.
• Technology Troubleshooting: Work with T4 E&I’s, EO’s, and teams on technical issues (10% of your role).

Support other SEAOs' LECs (20% of the role):

• Provide PC&IS support to other SEAO's as they are executing LEC's and/or creating standards that may require PC&IS mastery.

Lead and/or actively participate in initiatives/projects: (40% of the role):

Timing varies and could represent a short period of 100% dedication. Ensure new equipment, PC&IS standards, are in place with all changes. Participate in Equipment VATs and IQ/OQ/PQs. Provide training as necessary to T4 E&I's and equipment owners.

• Provide input into the initial project design to meet department needs.
• Work with PC&IS engineers to develop training materials for new initiatives, and lead training efforts.
• Work with PC&IS engineers to develop and execute the VAT plan and checkout.
• Support PC&IS IQ, OQ, and PQ activities during initiative startup.

Achievement:

• Delivered operational excellence results for Chameleon Line, KWT Line, TOYO Line, Shubarm Line, Elgie Line, and Mespack Line technology: Process reliability > 85%, unplanned downtime < 1%, stops per day < 1.
• Improve 70% timing for the changeover by project auto-size change.
• Upgrade 80% Rockwell electrical obsolete part.
