Finance Business Partner

• Lead the monthly financial closing process, including provisions, sales cut-offs, stock in transit, and credit limit extensions.
• Review and analyze monthly reports such as Sales, COGS, and Gross Margin (GM), providing actionable insights.
• Consolidate weekly bank balance, cash flow, and AR/AP reports, enhancing cash flow projection accuracy.
• Track and analyze Profit & Loss (P&L), sales, and gross margin data across regions by product and customer.

Taxation

• Ensure timely filing of Tax Reports to Tax authorities, and ensure compliance with Tax Laws (VAT, CIT, WHT etc.)
• Responsible for Group tax reporting
• Coordinated tax filings with external tax advisors, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Group Reporting

• In charge of timely submissions of Accounting, Statistics, and finalization reports in accordance with Local VAS and Group regulations
• Prepare monthly financial reports (BS, P&L, Notes) in accordance with IFRS, and Local VAS

Accounting & Audit

• Fully responsible for all GL and accounting activities, ensure compliance with Tax, VAS, IFRS and Group regulation.
• In charge of yearly audit (Internal & External)
• Liaise with relevant government authorities relating to accounting matters.
• Monitoring internal controls

Treasury

• Prepare cash flow reporting and liquidity plan. Optimized cash flow management by diligently monitoring accounts receivable and following up on overdue payments.
• Ensured timely bill payments by managing accounts payable, reviewing invoices, and processing transactions.
• Responsible for all other treasury related queries

Process implementation

• Streamlined accounting processes by implementing automated systems and reducing manual tasks.
• Other ad-hoc projects.

Accounting & Financial Management

• Timely and accurate submission of statutory reports (Vietnam GAAP) and regular disclosure to the Global Headquarters
• Monthly review the analysis of the site BS, P&L and identify variances vs Budget
• Investigating and resolving account discrepancies and issues of non-compliance
• Control payment activities, monitor billing status & manage AR AP issues
• Corresponding with external auditors
• Perform ad-hoc and proactive analysis of the monthly Global KPIs (Payment-On-Time KPI) - and provide site and operational management.
• Improved customer satisfaction with timely response to inquiries, addressing concerns, and finding effective solutions.

Taxation & Compliance

• Preparation and submission of tax reports (FCT, VAT)
• Control compliance with tax laws and regulations within the company activities and corresponding with counterparties related to tax matters
• Supporting local statutory audit and tax process together with other members

Business transformation

• Closely work with and support cross-function departments as Finance & Accounting Business Partner
• Assist in Global inquiries and requirements as a contact window on all matters relating to the financial control environment (Concur, Coupa..)
• Updated company financial policies and procedures to enhance internal control over accounting and other management systems

Tax reporting

• Monthly tax declaration (VAT, FCT, SCT, invoice reporting)
• Tax finalization (CIT, WHT, PIT, working with Tax officer)
• Statistics reports to External government authorities

Compliance & Tax update

• Conducted comprehensive research on tax regulations
• Control compliance with tax laws and regulations within the company activities
• Conduct internal training programs for junior team members to enhance overall team performance in handling complex tax issues.
• Handling tax compliance in conducting commercial activities and promotion programs

Managerial accounting & budgeting

• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial statements and managerial reports
• Perform as the second layer to verify payments, invoices, and supporting documents to ensure compliance with Company policies, Tax regulations
• Support the Business Planning team to prepare and submit Annual Budget Package, 5 Years Plan Package, review variance

Accounting

• Manage day-to-day accounting
• Responsible for cash-on-hand management & bank transfers, ensuring all payments are well-supported with source documents
• Entry and control all transactions in AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Tools and Supplies

Reporting

• Provide management with reports on the performance such as labor efficiency, production output, manufacturing costs
• Manage month-end closing
• Manage DC & MOH in line with the budget, prepare and analyze monthly processing cost & efficiency
• Prepare reports and schedules to assist external auditors

Taxation

• Perform VAT report

Internal process implementation

• Coordinate with IT team (in improving, testing & operating new modules in SAP (FI, MM, PP)
• Associate with Finance team in Headquarters to build up accounting process to new established factory
• Other tasks assigned by Managers.
