- Polytechnic Final Year Project collaborated with a German chemical company known as BSAF for the formulation of drug-dissolution tablets. Aim of the project is to investigate if the excipient, Kollicoat Protect is able to provide a taste masking effect on the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient, Ibuprofen Sodium Dihydrate using wet granulation via fluid bed granulation. Physical and Analytical tests were carried out on both Ibuprofen Sodium Dihydrate and various weight gains (10%,30% and 50%) of Ibuprofen Sodium Dihydrate.
