Responsibilities

• Oversee/ carry out regular Data Centre (DC) facility work including vendor and budget management
• In troubleshooting, responsible for taking immediate action and promptly performing recovery process against any system failure, service failure or building structure problem in timely manner
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plan Exercise during annual power shutdown
• Managing Risk by identifying areas of failures or weakness in the DC space and operations and implementing mitigation strategies
• Establish and enforce safety protocols to protect personnel and equipment
• Overseeing the performance of various equipment, ensuring efficiency and continuous improvement of services to enable contribution to the success of the entire business
• Make mid-long term facility replacement plan for improvement (stable and effective) for DC facility, carry out along the plan

• Establishment of necessary operation procedure, maintenance procedure and emergency procedure to preserve good condition to the premises and all equipment or environment in data center
• Cabling Network Infrastructure which encompasses planning and managing cable network and structured cabling infrastructure capacity to meet current and future developments
• Train NOC Engineers for enabling 1st level troubleshooting of DC facility

• Improving the Change Management Request approval flow from 6 weeks to 2 weeks from stakeholders
• Teaching and guiding the newly formed Japan Citibank DC Team in the approval flow for Change Management Request
• Effective communication and immediate progress update to all stakeholders and landlords from the start of an incidents to a closure

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day oversight and leadership support of the outsourced data center facilities
• Responsibilities include coordination of maintenance, repair, installation and operation of outsourced facility, which includes electrical systems, mechanical systems and all other aspects of data center facility operation
• Perform gap analysis to identify deviations from maintenance programs, operations and maintenance standards
• Coordination of Power down / Pull the Plug Major intrusive Landlord Activities to Citi Stakeholders
• Assist in securing planned maintenance schedule and any changes on the schedule thereafter
• Manage and oversee the Data Center Critical Facilities Engineering Team assigned
• Participate in internal and external audit exercises

Key Accomplishments

• Reducing the number of Work Orders by grouping into sections and assigning system owners to take responsibility to assign vendors to complete Work Orders from 6 months to 3 months
• Assist and guiding the Inventory Technician in implementing an Asset Inventory Information System with proper storage label and system to improve asset tracking, retrieval and storage
• Improving on the Monthly & Quarterly Reports by analyzing past power consumption data and providing insights via visualizations
• Stand in and acting as the “Critical Facilities Manager” for 10 months during CFM absence (Resigned) and ability to present Monthly and Quarterly Review with Global Facility Management Team as well as managing the integrity and operations of the staff under his care

• Manage, motivate and develop on-site Data Centre Environment Operations Team in a business critical 24/7/365 operating environment, providing FM services to the client
• To manage and develop a professional relationship with the client locally to create a positive customer experienced as part of Operational Management
• To deliver a performance level which achieves and beats the KPI's and SLA's set down in the contract with client
• To Lead, motivate and develop the CBRE Team on the site and to ensure that the culture and standards on the site are consistent with the culture and standards established by CBRE and client as part of People and Contract Management
• To support audit and monitor the on-site operations teams efficiency and to develop efficiencies and innovations that benefit the client and CBRE
• Providing leadership, management, and development of the contract, ensuring financial and operational commitments are met and exceeded

Ability to trim 20% off Operational Budget during the renewal of M&E maintenance, security services and cleaning contracts due to efficient resource planning

Reduction of Incident Reports to 60% due to strict enforcement of proper maintenance, daily inspections, and thorough follow through of rectification work by vendors and contractors

• Ensuring efficient delivery of all services within the agreed scope by understanding the business goals, objectives and challenges
• Manage day to day building operations to ensure delivery of all facilities management services to provide the best possible working environment for employee and customers
