- As the Value Stream owner for Engine Assembly & Test, for both CFM56 and LEAP product line.
- Given the mandate to lead the Borescope Inspection cell as well, covering for both induction and post-test planning.
- Led a team of 100 over technicians, supported by Coaches, Cell Leaders and Shift Leaders.
- Strive to achieve business output target on weekly basis, to meet quarter and yearly forecast.
- Efficiently plan for engine build, working closely with cross-functional upstream cell to ensure level loading and not creating back log in downstream cell.
- Work closely with COM team for communication that may require customer decision making and provide timely responses for customer inquiry.
- Utilize Lean tools to ensure smooth day-to-day operation such as; 5S, Daily Management board, Standard Work, Value Stream Map, & Andon. React timely for progress vs planning deviation that may impact engine completion date.
- Partner with Quality department for any customer escape investigation and implement systemic corrective action.
- Proactively monitor engine labour hours thru Spotfire dashboard to ensure the KPIs are within the targeted value.
- Identify Non Value Added waste introduced in the process and improve systemically.
