Senior Mechanical Rotating Technician

  • Contributed to the development of preventive maintenance schedules, leading to a decrease in unexpected
  • Supervising in house contractor on doing preventive maintenance work, schedule breaker and corrective maintenance work on rotating equipment in other to maintain plant reliability, also produce and submit report regarding maintenance work to supervisor/engineer for their review.
  • Maintain Rotating equipment by doing Preventive Maintenance (PM) according to the schedule and standard.
  • Witness operation on handling equipment during test run after repair
  • Give support to operation team on handling rotating equipment
  • Accountable for ensuring the rotating equipment and package auxiliary systems are operating within the OEM/Vendor operating limits.
  • Interfacing with contract vendors to ensure timely resolution of problems from rotating equipment
  • Perform Condition monitoring on rotating equipment by taking vibration and according to ISO-10816
  • Perform Rotating equipment repair if necessary
  • Provide support and teaching to a new joiner about work scope and safety procedure.
