Report to Technical Manager of Shipping Technical Department and responsible for the technical management and operations of assigned vessels.

Ensure vessels under charge is being maintained as per required technical standards and performance.

Monitor vessel’s certificates and documents are updated.

Ensure effective implementation of Company management and Plan Maintenance system

Monitor day to day vessel operations and follow up on vessel requisitions and plan maintenance are up to date.

Ensure vessel Class survey status is monitored and plan for vessel statutory and other surveys are timely carried out.

Prepare, manage and monitor dry-dockings and other required adhoc repairs and maintenance jobs.

Prepare and manage vessels budget.

Monitor Noon reports and fuel and Lube oil consumption.

Ensure fuel oil and lube oil analysis are monitored and take necessary corrective action promptly.

Appraise crew performance and review for promotion.

Carry out Vessel Technical Inspection timely and follow up with observations.

Ensure vessel defects are reported and followed up with required rectification.

Carry out MPA required CIC inspection on vessels to ensure vessel is up to MPA inspection standards to ensure zero detention.

Involved in company DOC audit preparation and audit process.

Stand in Technical Manager in the absence of technical manager until a new Technical Manager was appointed.

Carry out 6 dockings between Nov 2023 to November 2024

Reporting to General Manager of Fleet Technical Operations and responsible for the technical management and operations of assigned vessels.

Monitor day to day vessel operations and follow up on vessel requisitions and plan maintenance are up to date.

Carry out Ship Port Inspection and Sailing visits to ensure vessel upkeep and performance is up to company and Oil Major requirements and standards.

Responsible for communication, promotion and implementation of company's policies onboard and ensure crew adhere to Code of Conduct.

Monitor Noon reports and fuel and Lube oil consumption. Ensure fuel oil and lube oil analysis are monitored and take necessary corrective action promptly.

Plan and carry out surveys timely in accordance to Class requirements. Involved in Company's TMSA preparation and audit.

Liaise with Procurement department on timely supplies spares and stores. Assist in planning, coordinating and attending to new-build, delivery and sale of vessel, as required.

Carry out appraisal on ship crew and conduct interviews for potential crew. Provide training onboard as and when required as per Fleet Circulars and Memos.

Prepare the dry docking specification, submit to yards for quotations and evaluate the received quotations. Follow up with warranty claim on assigned new-build vessel. Carry out Incident Investigation and provide report on root cause and follow up

Implement and maintain a safe, cost efficient and environmentally sound operation standard in compliance with TSM.

Procedures for a given number of vessels. Manage the daily operation of the number of vessels assigned to him in accordance with TSM Procedures & communicate Masters and Chief Engineers on important matters. Evaluate and monitor the required reporting from the vessels, act as required and inform other office sections and external bodies as is relevant.

Follow up class and statutory certification status, condition of class and arrange for the necessary surveys and inspections.

Coordinate with the assigned vessels and prepare the dry docking specification, submit the specification to yards for quotations and evaluate the received quotations.

Monitor the vessels performance trend and take necessary remedial actions. Regular inspections of the vessels to ensure compliance.

Review monthly cost control and financial reports. Prepare input for the annual budgets for the vessels.

Follow up the onboard maintenance system (TM MASTER), monitor the deficiencies and non-conformities from vetting inspections, port state control, audits and flag state inspections and close liaison with Marine department for closure of NCR's.

Report to Sealion Shipping Limited, Technical Manager in Farnham UK.

To operate a Safety Management system accredited to ISM code and Sealion SMS.

Responsible for the maintenance of managed vessels and ensure they are safe and seaworthy.

Ensure vessels are well maintained with regular Ship inspections. To ensure compliance of managed vessels to Regulations and ensure that all certification is up to date.

To plan, approve and monitor maintenance repairs and associated costs. Ensure on-board maintenance is carried out as per Company policy and plan maintenance system. (Premaster)

To implement Annual budget for storing, spares, maintenance and drydocking. To prepare reports on variances to budgets. To undertake drydocking hull repairs, monitor time and cost implications. Plan and carry out conversion of DP1 vessel to DP2 including FMEA trials To provide technical advice on matters arising from Chartering requirements and modification to vessels.

Short period due decision to leave basis company financial issues. At the time of employment, self was attending to drydock project.

Report to Fleet manager and provide technical support to allocated vessels.

Responsible for upkeep and updates of vessel AMOS planned maintenance and corrective maintenance as well as dry-docking.

Carried out Docking survey on bareboat charter vessel Toisa Sonata and deliver vessel back on charter in timely manner.

Maintain budget on vessel repairs, and expenditure. Monitor vessel survey status and plan for renewal.

Daily monitoring of vessel operations and liaise with Charterers on requirements.

Stationed in Brunei for the first 2 years. Maintain vessels in safe and smooth operation, ensure minimize downtime and ensure vessels are in excellent condition.

Plan and coordinate Statutory Surveys by checking with Classification Society, monitor expiry date of vessels' trading certificates.

Liaise with Marketing/Operations Departments for vessel's schedules.

Check and liaise with contractors, makers, agents, and ship staffs for repair works.

Analyse and plan financial year budget for stores/spares/provisions/repairs/surveys of each vessel under my charge.

Ensure vessels comply with ISM in daily, weekly and monthly tasks and report as per Company Safety Management.

Make regular visits to vessel to verify vessel comply with company policies and ISM regulations.

Carry out yearly Internal Audit as per company procedures. Check vessel maintenance via TM Master and ensure all maintenance is up to date.

Ensure all Class and relevant trading certificates are up to date and renewed in time.

Plan and prepare vessel docking budget and ensure all spares are requested in time and liaise with necessary yards for vessel docking. Prepare docking Project Plan to submit for management review and review dockyard performance. Carry out FMEA trials after docking Report to Technical Fleet Manager on assessment of ships technical staff performance.

Vetting and interview engineer officer applicants for employment on vessels. Provide briefing to engineer officers joining vessels. Debrief and appraise of off-sign senior engineer officers.

Provide training to ship's crew pertaining to Client requirement standards.

Monitor fleet vessels daily operation and performance. Monitor and file fleet ISM monthly reports as accordance to Company Quality, Safety and Management System.

Provide vessels with technical assistance and/or arrange shore repairs. Inspect fleet periodically according to Company Quality, Safety and Management System inspection and audit plan.

Carry out Site Inspection Visit as required by client. Monitor fleet survey status and plan for renewal.

Vet and monitor vessels' stores, spare part and lubrication requisition.

Plan and monitor vessels' lubrication oil analysis. Advice Chief Engineer on results of analysis.

Carry out joint investigation on vessel incident and accident report.

Prepare annual vessel technical total budget expenditure Prepare vessel technical forms and shipboard filing system as per Quality Safety and Management System for newly-build vessels.

Prepare initial vessel electronic Plan Maintenance System prior installation of Ulyssess ship management system. Inspect, provide advice and report defects to yard for rectification. Attend vessel sea trial during newbuilding. Attend commissioning of vessel machinery.

Attend vessel initial ISM and ISPS audit. Prepare vessel for delivery.
