Mohd Khairudin Bin Mohd Ali

Singapore Prisons Service, Correctional Officer

Summary

My security career began with my dedicated service in the Singapore Armed Forces during National Service. Thriving as a Regimental Policeman, I ensured security and upheld regulations. My leadership qualities were recognized with a promotion to Corporal and the 2nd-in-Charge role within the Security Office.

Transitioning to the Singapore Prison Service, I embarked on a challenging yet rewarding 11-year career as a Prisons Officer. This role demanded a high level of professionalism, emotional intelligence, and the ability to de-escalate conflicts and manage complex situations with composure and clear judgment.

My expertise lies in de-escalating conflicts, enforcing institutional rules, and contributing to the overall well-being of inmates housed in my custody.

However, with a life-long journey for education, my passion for efficiency and streamlining processes led me to explore the world of software development. This growing interest fueled my decision to leverage technology to improve my daily work. This is what ultimately led me to develop my skills in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and take on the challenge of automating repetitive tasks in my current organisation.
