Principle Activities (Full).

  • Promote and insist on safety and health working environment.
  • Promote and insist on discipline of workforce (follow the rules).
  • Produce products to schedule in the most efficient way with lowest scrap and cost.
  • Delivery best quality products that meet customer expectation.
  • Steer CBT2 and CBT1 to meet the goal setting.


Daily Activities (Full).

  • Lead and steer CBT2 team members to effectively support the operation.
  • Coach CBT1 to be effectively run the Production most efficiently.
  • Maintain safety, delivery, quality, scrap and cost within the define goal.
  • Improve operation standard through adopted Conti technology and best practice.
  • Daily monitoring of the shiftily and daily production performance through the KPi's.


Regular Activities (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly (Shared).

  • Attend meeting CBT4, Safety Meeting, PDP meeting, Strategy HC, Union/ Management meeting and others
  • Analysis weekly and monthly data and formulate action to improve.
  • Host team and communication meeting with subordinates.
  • Conduct ED and assess subordinates accordingly.
  • Drive and follow up disciplinary procedure as needed.


Suggestion and Improvement idea (Shared).

  • To continuously provide suggestion and improvement ideas that can reduce total operating cost.
  • To implement and support all suggestion and improvement ideas related with tooling.


Quality Issue (Full).

  • To attend and rectify all quality issue related.
  • To ensure and maintain high performance level to produce quality product.
  • To comply with work instruction or SOP accordingly.
  • Drive CBS process especially the structure problem solving (SPS).


Safety and Environmental (Support).

  • Support environmental, Safety and Health task to ensure activities are complied to OSHAS 18001, and ISO 14001 standards as per details in the safety and environment management system and procedure.


Relations Customer/ Provider Co Department (Support).

  • Satisfy customer in quality, quantity, time and location, give info in case deviation compare to plan look for info on time of delivery, discussion with customer, provider to solve the issues and try to avoid them, propose or ask for help.
  • To deal directly with contractor regarding fabrication works, measurement, adaptation of parts, service and repair work- To deal directly with supplier to ensure optimum level of spare part availability.



Production Area Leader (OTR)

Achievement & Project Completion

  • Introduce and propose cost saving project for GT liners separator. Eliminate polythene process and change to recycle lining (15k/ months @ 150k/years)
  • Improve banner knife quality (long spending) and reduce the cost (RM145 IPO RM220)
  • Improve process spraying at Final Finish when changing using air pump to high pressure tank. This project to eliminate frequent pump damage due stuck with paint. Spending air pump per months RM5k to nil (one off).
  • Improve and eliminate marking at bead area by using Teflon hook for GT storage. Impact of this the GT storage can be use since after one (1) year installation.

Senior Shift Manager (TBR)

  • Identify production issue in TBR and improve it (i.e. daily target not achieved, frequent machine breakdown, resolve operative issue, scheduling issue)
  • Improve communication report among shift so that easier shift can follow up.

  • Responsible for overall operation of production area in terms of production, quality, cost, delivery, technical, safety, and people while respecting the defined goals and KPI.
  • Manage all aspects of the shift thru liaise and coordinate with support functions to progress issues concerning production planning and resource/skill allocation to ensure delivery of products to schedule within all relevant quality specifications.
  • Undertake performance management responsibility for team members, conducting appraisals and giving direction to aid good performance. Ensure safe working practices are maintained and Standard Operation Procedure are adhered to. Lead and motivate team to create high performance culture.


Achievement & Project Completion

  • Lead 5S project for Area Small Component Preparation- Bead (2012)Winner for 5S Conti Wave 2
  • Lead for Naphtha Reduction project. Objective this project is to reduce naphtha usage by each area process by using DMAIC concept and to clearly identify usage detail in OTR shopfloor for which process and area consumption (2014)- Winner for Conti Award Region
  • Lead for improve FF process. Purpose is to improve work flow at OTR final finish, to setup proper rework tooling and to eliminate cosmetic and appearance issue (852k). Package including changing trimming machine, rework tooling and accessories, fabricate new loading bay, improvement flooring, implement new spraying boot, and improvement rework process (2015)- Winner for Conti Tire Award Region
  • Lead for Tire Building Ownership and 5S project (TBO5S). Purpose this project is for paradigm change in mindset for ownership and responsible for cleanliness, safety and quality. Improvement for work process flow for Tire Building Machine, To standardize machine tools and layout and no proper stock control by tire builder (2017)- Winner for Conti Tire Award Region
