- My job was an Operation Crew at Mega Adventure. I work with and on heights in the park. My responsibility was to ensure the adventurer’s safety when they were zipping down from 75 meters high, 450 meters long and at a speed of 60kph. Our responsibility as an operation crew is to help and guide the adventurers on how to wear harnesses, serve customer service and most importantly, safety. After the adventurer wore their harnesses, I had to cross check (Double Check) their safety harnesses after my colleagues wore it for them. I had 3 positions, my first position was to receive adventurers from the zipline. If the adventurer is stuck on the middle of the zip during the operation, I myself have to hook up my full body harness to the golden pulley and pull myself to retrieve the adventurer back to safety. My second position as passenger buggy driver(Blue1) was to pick up adventurers from bottom bus to top bus for them to harness. My third position as a transport buggy driver was to load and unload zippers from the bottom and bring it back up. Transport is the backbone of the operation. Once it stops, the whole operation will be delayed and will have a longer waiting time.
