In Higher Nitec for engineering with business, I learned how to make custom parts using software, learning the basic safety and danger assessments, basic electrical, hydraulic system with air and oil with proper tactics
I learnt CAD to make customs parts like gears and brackets using solidworks and printing them out I have also learnt how to make a blueprint of parts and 3d printing for projects An example is: I have made a phone holder from scratch, and to be safe from hazard category
Required images and writing a report is core work too
For electrical, I did the basics of how to wire lighting circuit for homes, like a 2way switch, learning parallel and series circuit
For hydraulic systems i learned about oil and air, make circuits while connecting different stuffs An example is a 2 way valve or switches that trigger other connections when the piston injects its way associating with different fittings and valves for it
YEAR 2024-2025
In Nitec in Aerospace Engineering, i was taught to work on aircrafts, tools, basic electrical jobs, safety hazards, parts and fabrication
For aircrafts, different instruction repair manuals, parts catalog and even aircrafts system manuel were given to work on as a team with coordinations
Proper calibration of tools and learning air powered tools too using air powered Safety briefing and hazard identifications in the work area before starting Eg chemical spill or simple of loose wires causing trip hazard
For electrical we were taught and learnt the basics of soldering wires together and checking with the multimeter if circuit getting enough voltage or needing to check if it's open circuit Identifying different plugs and connectors
For fabrication i learnt how to make custom brackets, cutting and riveting
