I hold a degree from the Faculty of Letters at the University of Tokyo and possess significant experience as an instructor at a supplementary school in Japan. Additionally, I have specialized in language education, specifically teaching English and Japanese to Japanese children attending international schools in Japan and abroad. My expertise is further enriched by over a decade of experience in raising my daughter overseas. Furthermore, for the past 20 years, I have diligently researched Japanese language education for children, acquiring a substantial body of knowledge aimed at facilitating the effective and reliable improvement of Japanese language skills among children growing up abroad. This extensive background will significantly contribute to the management and development of teaching materials for Japanese language supplementary classes in Singapore, catering to students from kindergarten through high school.
In addition, with my experience as a teacher aid at an international school in Singapore, and can support Japanese language learners who are learning English as a second language (using Japanese as the medium language). We also have the know-how to help Japanese children who have just arrived from Japan and have just transferred to a local or international school in Singapore to keep up with their school lessons.
In addition to my background as an educator, I possess extensive experience in marketing roles across several Asian countries, including Singapore. To broaden the reach of your schools in Singapore to encompass not only Japanese children but also Singaporean and international students, and to transform your institutions into “community-based” supplementary and preparatory schools, my expertise in the sales sector will prove invaluable.
I am a native Japanese speaker and am highly proficient in both English and Chinese. Furthermore, I have amassed significant expertise in cultivating mutually beneficial connections with individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds. Notably, I have effectively supervised and guided a team comprising approximately 15 subordinates in both the Philippines and Macau. Such experiences substantiate my qualification for assuming a managerial position as a classroom manager (WAM Education Orchard Branch Manager). Presently, I am entrusted with assuming a pivotal role in spearheading our global expansion initiative, commencing from Singapore.
