- Responsible for P&L for all of Asia-Pacific regions of the Cotton Trading business for the company which involve Australia, China, Indonesia, Singapore, India, & Pakistan, all of which totaling to between 50-100 million USD PnL depending on the year.
- Australia, China, India & Pakistan have cotton trading books while Singapore has commercial and marketing set up to market cotton to all of Asia which accounts for 80% of world's cotton consumption, all being my primary responsibility.
- Successful management of a team of senior managers and leaders in each of of the above country with dedicated teams under them making it a total of over 225 company employees reporting directly and indirectly.
- Solid industry and asset management experience with Australia, which is an industry and asset heavy country with we owning 13 cotton ginning factories (of the total 35 in the country) as well as big warehousing, packing and cotton classing services business.
- Solid direct M&A experience with recent A$205 million acquisition of Namoi Cotton Limited in Australia by LDC as well as various Joint Venture negotiations done at a corporate level.
- Proven ability to supervise finance and working capital needs for large businesses as well as Credit risk & Mark to Market and market risk assessment.
- Proven ability to work successfully in a target and P&L driven fast paced environment with direct management of both cash (physical) cotton business in all of Asia-pacific as well as first hand management of futures & derivatives markets - ICE & ZCE exchanges for hedging & prop position taking.
