IN CHARGE OF THE FOLLOWING MACHINERIES: To Check & Monitor Running Condition, test running Condition, Conduct Performance Test, Pull out-check internal Parts, Overhaul- Renewal Defective Parts.

• Ships Main Propulsion Engine / Main Diesel Engine; Engine Being use so that Ship May Navigate into the Ocean. (Two Stroke) 9,000kW Capacity- (Mechanical-Electric-Electronic-Hydraulic-Pneumatic System)
• Steering Gear System: To Steer Left and Right the Ships Movement (Hydraulic-Electrical-Mechanical Operation)
• Deck Crane and Grab (Hydraulic-Electrical-Mechanical Operation) To Load and Unload Cargo onboard ship.
• Hatch Cover: (Hydraulic-Electrical-Mechanical Operation) To Open - Close Cargo compartment cover so that it can be Load/Unload.
• Deck Machinery System (Hydraulic-Electrical-Mechanical Operation) to Secure Ships to Shore using Rope and to prevent ship dragging by oceans current using Anchor.
• Ships Fire Fighting System (Water Hypermist System, C02 System, Emergency Fire Pump, Quick Closing Valve, Fire Damper, Fire Flaps, Ventilation Fans, Oil Pumps) to Extinguish Fire Onboard Ship.
• Ships Pollution Prevention Equipments. MAJOR CONCERN OF PORT STATE CONTROL & CLASSIFICATION SOCIETY. (Oily-Blige Separator* to prevent discharge of oily water into the ocean. Waste Oil incinerator *To minimize Sludge and Garbage accumulation onboard. Sewage treatment Plant* To Prevent disposal of untreated sewage into the Ocean. Exhaust Gas Cleaning system/ Scrubber* To Prevent Pollution on Air by Exhaust Gas Treatment using Sea Water and analyzing Discharge of carbon dioxide and Sulfur Dioxide before it can be discharge on Atmosphere. Ballast Water Treatment System * To prevent migration of harmful micro organism from one country to another by Filtration and UV lamp/ Chemicals.)
• Safety Equipment for Crew's Safety Onboard. MAJOR CONCERN OF PORT STATE CONTROL & CLASSIFICATION SOCIETY. (Lifeboat and Rescue Boat* to rescue crew that's been fall overboard and to use during abandonship. Emergency Fire Pump* pumps to be use to extinguish fire onboard. Emergency Generator Engine * To be use during Main Powerplant Failure, can give power to emergency equipment and main generator for power recovery. Steering Gear System * to steer the ships movement left & right. Bilge Alarms * alarm that's indicate that water on Engine Room is in abnormal level and to be check for possibility of Hull Fracture and Water Ingress onboard. Inspection- Alarm Function Test of Safety Device for Main Engine, Diesel Generator sets, Emergency Generator, Auxiliary Boiler, Steering Gear.)

• Maintained a safe working environment for all personnel through strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures during daily operations of engineering equipment on board the vessel.
• Reduced operational costs through effective management of spare parts inventory on board the vessel.
• Optimized fuel consumption through regular monitoring and adjusting of propulsion systems and auxiliary equipment.
• Minimized downtime by swiftly troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing complex machinery issues onboard vessels, and usually lead the Engineering team so that machinery trouble may be solved.
• Utilized best practices and troubleshooting techniques to resolve machinery issues (By parts Fabrication, Parts Repair, Parts Replacement what ever is applicable)
• Managed emergency situations effectively by leading damage control efforts in case of fire, flooding, or other critical incidents on board the vessel.
• Planning Job to be perform on daily, weekly, Monthly, quarterly and Yearly Basis and coordinate it to Chief Engineer so that Engineering Personnel (Fourth Engineer, Third Engineer, Electrician, Welder, Oilers, Wiper and Engineering Cadet) will become aware for the Plan. Prepare Pertaining Documents and permits for the job to be done and conduct toolbox meeting before starting the job.

• To Prepare Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Report as per Company requirements, Port State Control, Classification Society and Third Party Surveyor Requirements. Usually Those Documents are needed as evidence for Maintenance, Testing of Safety Equipment for Proper Machinery Operation.
• To Train Engine Cadet and the Junior Marine Engineer for Proper Machinery Maintenance and Operation.
