I regularly engage in community service. Presently I teach a weekly Toddlers' Class as my church ministry. I plan, organize and lead a 1.5 hr session where I engage young children in imaginative play, praise and worship through music and songs and a bible lesson through interactive techniques. Besides engaging the children, I establish and build relationships with parents, sharing professional advice on parenting and education. I have also acted a lead Camp Speaker at various Church Camps fro preschoolers, giving talks to large groups of preschoolers ranging from 2 to 6 years old.
Between 2019 and 2021, I volunteered at the Rainbow Centre, Singapore to support students with autism. I engaged students in motor skill activities, language and numeracy learning centres and and water therapy.
Between 2006 and 2009, I led a community Music Group for children aged 3 to 6. The aim was to inculcate a love of music and the Arts in young children, support their motor development through movement and dance and provide a support group for mothers of young children .
