• Aid smooth transfer of new products/packages

• Assist in NPI products/packages qualification

• Execute NPI Customer and Engineering Samples builds

2. Process Evaluation and Improvement:

• Identify and document quality deviations

• Troubleshoot deviations systematically

• Make corrective actions to prevent recurrence

• Address process problems and optimize parameters

• Support process development and improvements

• Verify production process variables and monitor capabilities

3. Process, Equipment, and Material Development:

• Assist in experiments and proposing solutions

• Understand process quality factors and limits

• Contribute to process improvement evaluations

4. New Process Implementation:

• Help maintain operation procedures

• Manage Assembly On-Line Document System and ECNs

• Familiarize with assembly qualification procedures

• Coordinate training for operational personnel

5. New Device/Equipment/Material Evaluation:

• Support new device FUT and qualification

• Assist in evaluating new equipment and materials

6. Training Coordination and Conduct:

• Aid in developing training materials

• Conduct training for production trainers

1. Problem Identification and Improvement:

• Identify issues and areas for quality enhancement

• Develop methods for productivity and cost improvement

2. Equipment Engineering and Support:

• Manage equipment downtime, maintenance, and upgrades

• Handle highly automated equipment engineering

3. New Machine Qualification and Enhancement:

• Qualify new machine models and set workmanship criteria

• Collaborate with machine makers for performance enhancement

4. Documentation and Communication:

• Update machine specifications, troubleshooting guides, etc.

• Prepare training and maintenance documentation

5. Failure Analysis and Reporting:

• Perform timely failure analysis and reporting

• Analyze and report equipment failure findings

6. Defect Management and Analysis:

• Analyze on-hold lots and manage disposal

• Identify defects and follow engineering guidelines

7. Data Collection and Compilation:

• Collect and compile relevant data

1. Equipment Efficiency Oversight:

• Responsible for Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE)

2. Quality Defect Analysis:

• Collaborate with Process Engineering to analyze machine-related quality defects

3. New Machine Qualification:

• Qualify new machine models and establish workmanship criteria

4. Machine Enhancement and Collaboration:

• Coordinate with machine maker to improve performance and capabilities

5. Documentation Management:

• Update machine specs, guides, procedures, and capability info

6. Support for New Devices:

• Assist Qual/Ramp-up Team for successful new device setup

7. Transfer Coordination:

• Collaborate with Process Engineering for timely device transfer

8. Training and Documentation Preparation:

• Create training, operation, and maintenance documentation

1. Machine Analysis:
• Evaluate ball-bonding machines

2. Calibration:
• Perform machine calibration

3. Troubleshooting:
• Identify and resolve machine issues

4. Maintenance:
• Ensure machine upkeep and functionality
