Undertaking a 6-month long Internship with Exyte, as a Civil/Structural Engineer in the Concept Development Team working on Advanced Technology Facilities (ATFs).

• Provided conceptual design of Steel Support Frame members for a proposal design package.
• Analysing the use of Supplementary Cementitious Materials in ATF construction to reduce carbon emissions.
• Assessing the feasibility of utilising Asphalt containing recycled plastic for road works on site. Produced an appendix for internal asphalt specification. Collaborating with the Commercial Team and Vendor to reach a partnership.

• Pressure Handling – Managed the kitchen as the only chef during busy weekends and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival

• This resulted in a promotion from Kitchen Porter to Line Chef after 1 month.
