  • Operate independently with limited direct management.
  • Manage day-to-day activities of a data center, including physical and security checks, physical tape/media management, assistance with physical vendor intervention (e.g. replacement of a part).
  • Involved in 24x7 response to incidents within the data center, investigate, analyze, root cause analysis and resolutions
  • Perform first level troubleshooting for the facility and rack-level events.
  • Ensure all personnel on-site utilize proper safety methodology.
  • Work on-call and a rotating schedule when required 24/7 support.
  • Management of inventory DCC records (present inside facilities, installed & storage room), equipment management and tracking, replenishment, and order.
  • Broad understanding of electrical systems especially UPS and CRAC units, fire suppression, CCTV, HVAC. Maintains surveillance to ensure there is no interruption to the facilities.
  • Keeping track of Onsite/offsite tape rotations. Maintaining physical records of tape movement.
  • Plans and tracks the inventory of required spare parts including safety tools.
  • Good hand on experience in Struxureware application for monitoring, Alarm configuration, Reports, etc.
  • Performed various administrative functions, including filing paperwork, office cleaning, and bookkeeping.
  • Set up and controlled user-profiles and access levels for each database segment to protect important data.
  • Experience in IBM TS3100, TS3200 Tape library of magnetic tapes for data through verification, correction, labeling, and bar-coding
  • Excellent hands on experience in CMMS and proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, O365, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Project)
  • Also Knowledgeable in PLC Programming, SCADA.
