Hello,my name is Marsya Aqilah,a graduate from Zhenghua Secondary School.While waiting for my Olevel results,I am eager to to apply my skills and knowledge in the retail industry.With a strong interest and passion in Accounting,I managed to secure a spot in Ngee Ann Polytechnic through the Early Admissions Exercise.Throughout my 4 years in secondary school,I discovered my passion for Accounting and developed valuable skills such as teamwork,communication and attention to detail.These skills have enabled me to adapt seamlessly to new regulations and environments,fostering my ability to navigate through challenges with ease.Essentially,with unwavering dedication,determination and perseverance,I trust in my ability to overcome any obstacles and make meaningful contributions to the organisation that I will be working with,while continuously learning and growing.

Throughout my 4-year journey in Secondary School, I have been fortunate enough to participate in various competitions and performances, which have been instrumental in shaping my growth. Dance, in particular, has been a transformative experience, instilling in me a sense of creativity and self-expression.I have been in the Dance CCA from 2017 to 2024. Through movement, I have learned to convey my ideas and emotions, fostering a deeper appreciation for the arts and their impact on my personal growth.In 2023, I achieved a notable accomplishment by participating in the Singapore Youth Festival competition for Malay dance. Additionally, I was honored to take on the role of Logistics Leader and Planner for my class during the Sec 3 Expedition Camp, where I successfully coordinated and executed logistical arrangements.These experiences have collectively provided me with various learning opportunities, enabling me to grow significantly in leadership, collaboration, and teamwork. I am grateful for the chance to develop these essential skills, which will undoubtedly benefit me in my future endeavors.

I am thrilled to share my academic achievements and certifications,which demonstrates my commitment to financial literacy and accountability.Recently,I have participated in the NumberSPlan challenge,held at Singapore Polytechnic.It is a financial literacy competition that tested me on my problem solving skills and my knowledge in budgeting and finance.Additionally,I have earned a certificate in Introduction to Basic Accounting and Financial Accounting,enabling me to solidify my understanding in the fundamental accounting principles and practices.Notably, I have also received the prestigious Edusave Good Progress award in 2023,recognising my significant academic improvements and efforts in pursuing excellence.These certifications showcases my dedication to continuous learning and self improvement and I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge in a real world application.

Volunteering has become a crucial part of my leisure activities, and I enjoy dedicating my free time and holidays to giving back to the community. In 2022, I volunteered at Jamiyah Nursing Home,an Old Folks Home whereby I engage residents in meaningful conversations and teach them activities like painting, which brought me immense joy.In 2023, I completed a Values in Action project, where my friends and I had the privilege of teaching children at New Life Childcare Centre for three days.Recently, in 2024, I have actively participated in recycling initiatives, responding to the concerning issues of climate change and global warming. To play an active role, I have donated used clothing to Cloop Enterprise's textile repurposing efforts, disposed of footwear through SportSg's shoe waste collection program, and dropped off donations at the Salvation Army Booth. Through volunteering, I have also gained numerous practical experiences and skills, developed new interests, and contributed positively to society, fostering personal growth and a sense of fulfillment.
