Currently holding the position of Country Head at MAS Intimates Bangladesh, overseeing the largest manufacturing unit in the MAS group. Responsible for plant profitability, process innovation, and manufacturing automation. Also leading the establishment of a new expansion unit to incubate new capabilities and complex products for MAS in Bangladesh, with production starting in October 2021. Additionally, driving the shift towards localized sourcing by collaborating closely with local suppliers. In previous roles, successfully integrated MAS Direct Brands in Bangladesh and established a strong base of lingerie trading customers. Solid background in operations management and a wealth of experience gained over 25 years in the industry, including manufacturing, trading, and working with European and US-based companies. Holds a Master's degree in Marketing from Cardiff Metropolitan University and completed a General Management program from NUS. Passionate about sports, particularly cricket, rugby, boxing, powerlifting, and golf. Active participation in national-level competitions, both in school and at the mercantile and club levels.
At present heading the MAS Intimates Bangladesh manufacturing arm as Country Head. Holds the responsibility for the plant P&L, being the Largest individual manufacturing unit in the MAS group, to overlook Process innovation and Manufacturing automation. Also holding the responsibility of the new expansion unit-2. Establishing to incubate new capability & complex products to MAS in BD. Expected begin production by January 2024.
Also taking the lead of strengthen localized sourcing, by working closely with local suppliers, to pivot from Overseas sourcing to localized sourcing.
My previous role as Country Manager-MAS Direct Brands, successfully completed its integration process in Bangladesh by establishing new business venture (Trading house) in 2013. Established strong lingerie trading base with range of customers, such as La-Sanza, Dunns, Walmart, Primark, K-Mart, sears, Amante, Ultimo, etc.… Also, product complex like brief’s, boxers, Bra, nightwear, swim wear, sports bras and body-suites.
Began my career at MAS in 2011 as Manager Operations at Direct-brands-MDS Rathmalana, which is a startup venture at MAS Intimates group. In 2013 moved to Dhaka- Bangladesh as Country Manager, with total responsibility of BD SBU
