Experience in HR Migration (Malaysia, Korea, Japan, Indonesia & Kong Kong), Regional Recruitment (Hong Kong, Vietnam, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Dubai, Australia & Thailand), Project Recruitment (Hong Kong, Vietnam, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand), Regional HR Support (Hong Kong, Vietnam, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand), Payroll (SG , Korea & Malaysia), full spectrum HR functions (SG, Korea & Malaysia) and HR management..
Graduate from Murdoch University with a Double Major in HR Management and Management.
o Coach and guide new HR team members on Recruiter module on myHR. Provide support on JR process to country HR and develop TA framework
o Work with respective country HR in talent acquisition activities, providing direct recruitment support when necessary large project implementation, along with employer brand inititaive
o Manage onboarding and offboarding processes including the Company assets supply and collection.
o Manage Payroll vendor and salary payment process through providing attendance records.
o Lead employee engagement activities.
o Provide guidance and support on developing and delivering employee retention plans.
o Produce HR staffing metrics and dashboards to support HR processes including absence management.
o Work with SD Director and Manager to develop and conduct a Performance Improvement Plan for employees those who have performance issues.
o Facilitates the annual performance management process to ensure that employees’ level of performance meet current and future standards through objective setting, mid-year reviews and year-end reviews
o Properly manage involuntary termination processes to comply with any local regulatory requirements.
o Works with the Compensation & Benefit and/ or Head of HR to ensure proper benefit offers and administration in country.
o Assists on HR Communications and company events
o Assists and counsel employees as and when needed
o Advice the Country Head on creating efficiencies in a C&B budget-conscious manner.
o Serve as backup for Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, South Korea, Philippines, Japan,Thailand,India if there is a short-term need of in country HR support.
o To manage and support the end-to-end HR functions in recruitment, payroll coordination, performance management etc.
o Provide support to managers on employee performance issues
o Helps drive Employee Engagement initiatives in APMEA, and support in yearly and quarterly APMEA Townhall.
• Talent Acquisition
o Coach and guide new HR team members on Recruiter module on myHR. Provide support on JR process to country HR.
o Provide effective sourcing and recruitment support to ensure Aspire hire qualified candidate within the targeted timeframe. Run assessments for vacancies.
o Coach and guide new HR team members on running assessments for concierge recruitment
o Work with country HR to develop Talent Acquisition Framework
o Collaborates with country HR on Employer Brand initiatives.
• HRIS, Compensation and Benefits and Performance Management
o Work closely with C&B and Head of HR APAC to support on annual merit review process and performance management process roll out. Support in the annual performance management process to ensure that employees’ level of performance meet current and future standards through objective setting, mid-year reviews and year-end reviews
o Work closely with Head of HR APAC to launch monthly HR Communication deck to be roll out to country launch, to strengthen HR presence and visibility with employees and managers.
o Support in reviewing and auditing country P files and payroll.
• Payroll Transition and Implementation
o Act as coordinator and Aspire project manager for payroll transition and implementation in Malaysia, South Korea, Philippines. New countries will be added with future in-sourcing plans for HR.
o Work closely with payroll vendor and country HR to ensure seamless in payroll transition and implementation.
• Backup for Country HR support
o Serve as backup for Malaysia, Hong Kong, South Korea, Philippines if there is a short-term need of in country HR support.
o To manage and support the end to end HR functions in recruitment, payroll coordination, performance management etc.
o Provide support to managers on employee performance issues
• HR Support & Projects
o Helps drive Employee Engagement initiatives in APAC
Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
Undertake tasks around performance management
Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews
Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
Ensure compliance with labor regulations
Accountable for full spectrum of HR function, including but not limited to payroll, compensation and benefit, training, recruitment spent, performance evaluation, organizational development etc
Supporting the Senior Management to ensure that all HR issues relating to policies, procedures, practices (eg. compensation & benefit, promotions) are complied by various regional HR offices and to ensure that new HR policies and procedures are timely communicated to all concerned
Accountable for reviewing, proposing, developing and implementing specific organizational / employee engagement activities consistent with the Company’s vision, mission and changes in the industry
Manage company’s recruitment activities
Ensuring that all human resources policies, procedures and initiatives implemented are in compliance with the respective local statutory requirements
• Perform staffing activities
• Perform full recruitment cycle from advertising, screening, interviewing, recommendations to successful placements
• conduct market research and competitive analysis in the recruitment industry
• Handle grievances, complaints and performance issues
• Manage health and life insurance programs.
• Design and implement effective training and development plans.
• Perform quarterly and annual employee performance reviews.
• Ensure all employee records are maintained and updated with new hire information or changes in employment status.
• Identify the company’s hiring needs and manage the recruitment process to ensure it runs smoothly.
• Track department budgets.
• Respond to employees’ queries and resolve issue in a timely and professional manner.
• Processes company's payroll every pay period
• Maintains payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data
• Computes employee take-home pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes
• Answers staff questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records
• Receives and coordinates requests for leave and other absences
• Handles changes in exemptions, job status, and job titles
• Adheres to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law
