  • Luke progressed from Sales Executive to Sales & Managing Director within 12 months leading to setting up and running the Manchester office and setting up a team in Singapore.
  • Luke sold over three million pounds worth of sponsorships personally through outbound sales.
  • Luke was / is responsible for recruitment, training, sales meetings, management of sales, marketing, operations, account management and credit control teams on multiple trade shows within multiple industries to create profitable and high revenue events.
  • Luke initially started the role of new sales executive within Fortem who then moved to Manchester from Cornwall to start open the Manchester office for Fortem, generating £130,500 revenue per week. Luke would also overcome challenges to meet this target weekly, analysing sales techniques and account management. He then left a functioning team in Manchester to run a sales team working across two events in Singapore.
  • Luke has been conducting business development in a 360 sales cycle from prospecting leads, appointment setting, and closing for himself and others.
  • Luke was coordinating two new shows based in Singapore covering the APAC market with a focus on new business development and recruitment of sales reps.
  • Luke sold sponsorship packages varying from £4,000 to £50,000 average £5,000-£10,000 into shows across the USA, Europe, and Asia, but selling to clients from worldwide organisations. Consistently making sales of £46,500 revenue and upwards with some months reaching above £200,000.
  • Luke started multiple teams and sold across different industries throughout this role including Retail, Logistics, Supply Chain, Disasters & Government, SME business, and product sourcing.
  • Luke had to develop quickly within this role to provide high sales figures through becoming expertly versed within his industry, and constantly having to pivot across many daily tasks and roles whilst selling, managing people, and events.
  • Challenges were continuous within this role for Luke and he had to show resilience when show dates were changed, locations were changed, staff turnover, and offices / staff were maneuvered within the business.
  • Luke developed and trained four staff to promotions within the business with one reaching top biller three times.
