At the Institute of Mental Health, as Deputy Director of HR, I had led in the reorganisation of the HRM services into centralised functions. This was part of the strategic initiatives to enhance organizational efficiency and to foster a collaborative culture in HR. Through the journey, I learnt the importance of change management and stakeholder engagement. Working closely with the team leads, we reviewed process improvements and talent acquisition strategies with the aim to improve performance metrics and employee retention in the organisation.
In the next phase of my professional career, I aspire to apply the skills I have acquired to strategically guide teams toward innovation and operational excellence as well as mentor the next generation of HR professionals.
